Spohn’s NetAUDIT Perimeter Security Assessment service helps you identify vulnerabilities and gather data on your perimeter devices. These services utilize highly experienced security experts that act as “white-hat” hackers to deploy tools and tactics that simulate those of a malicious intruder. Clients can choose from a variety of services that range from just identification of vulnerabilities to exploitation in order to assess networks from a hacker’s perspective. The four services include:
- Scanning – Scanning tools hunt for security holes in Internet-facing devices. Clients receive basic reports with raw data.
- Perimeter Assessment – Security engineers asses potential vulnerabilities after a scan to find probable vulnerabilities, providing a detailed report, hacker methods and remedy recommendations.
- Penetration Test – Deploys known attack method to exploit probable vulnerabilities, testing intrusion detection and security monitoring systems.
- Ethical Hack – Exploits probable vulnerabilities in an attempt to capture an actual target based on client-defined objectives.
